Eye Wear
The stylish, sensual and gorgeously coloured frames of the BOZ eyewear collections bestow originality and elegance on the women who wear them. Exploring cultural mixes and the influence of plants, the brand makes its mark using contemporary and original themes. The originality of the collection comes from its incredible diversity. The design is worked without preconceived ideas, and colours are unleashed. Elegant to the point of refinement, beautiful and expressive in their decorative graphics, exclusive in their acetate colours, all the models are created and fashioned to the smallest detail to give style to the women and girls who choose BOZ.
Caroline Abram started as an optician but quickly discovered her passion for design. As a young designer of accessories and jewellery, she creates a universe around the subject she knows the best, eyewear.
Caroline’s inspiration comes from her diverse origins (Caribbean, Indian, French, and Polish).
Carter Bond is inspired by the rebellious feelings of the 1980’s east London, when there were no restrictions or guidelines from the European fashion houses on how design should be made.
The industrial areas, defining days of a rave culture and acid jazz London, inspired Jonathan Sceats to design Carter Bond based on his personal memories and emotions from this time as a rebellious and creative soul. Carter Bond developed into a brand seen as a personality rather than a person. A creative, aware and confident personality who sets the fashion trends but makes sure that there is always a classic retro vibe to be found within the trend. A personality that is not afraid of breaking the rules and is always inspired by industrial and natural environments combined with simplicity and excitements to appear as never established.
Carter Bond is then, now and forever.
“If you buy a handcrafted pair of glasses or sunglasses, you want to see the tiny inaccuracies, the straight, raw edges of the plastic, the pins – they give character, make them unique to the wearer. The Cutler and Gross customer has always been an individual. Eccentric maybe, but a rare breed, certainly.” – Graham Cutler
Founded in 1969, British luxury eyewear brand Cutler and Gross combines the finest Italian craftsmanship with irrefutably cool style. Since its establishment in fashion’s halcyon days, the brand’s signature creativity has been applied to sunglasses and optical frames with their trademark numbered designs and absence of an ostentatious logo.
For decades, Graham Cutler and Tony Gross’s frames relied, in part, upon their reputation being dripped and whispered within style and fashion circles like verbal quicksilver. Considered bastions of iconic eyewear, Cutler and Gross designs continue to grace many of the most recognisable faces in the worlds of art, design, music and film. Today the brand has stores in the UK, North America and Canada and is stocked in selected department, optical and concept stores worldwide.
Far from standardised fashion diktats and conformist trends , each collection asserts its artistic temperament, drawing its inspiration from the sources of modern art, architecture and contemporary design.
FACE A FACE frames are developed within the design studio directed by Pascal Jaulent resembling small subtle pieces of architecture, playing with volumes, shapes, material and textures.
The frames express themselves through a unique colour range which is a true FACE A FACE trademark.
FACE A FACE eyewear will reveal your individual personality and underline the boldness, the modernity, the seduction of an independent, creative object of design.
The distinctive Jean-François Rey collection is innovative in design and unique in colour. Superimposed facets, graphic combinations with metal and acetate, fusional wood and carbon, bicoloured metal, the style of the new collection taking you into a universe of double play of artistic shapes, colours and materials.
Jono Limited Edition’s designer Jono Hennessy Sceats revolutionised the eyewear industry in the 1980’s with his magnificent design, daring to experiment with colour and shapes under his debut brand “Jonathan Sceats Australia”. Jonathan sold “Sceats Australia” in the 1990’s to create a new bold brand filled with emotions, passion and a fashionable touch, the exceptional Jono Limited Edition.
Jonathan himself was born into the industry of eyewear design and perfection since his father was the first optometrist and optical artisans in Australia’s capital, based in Sydney 1925. He told Jonathan that
“Producing beautiful eyewear is not just about making optical frames look good. It is also about superior quality, comfort and fit. The sense of satisfaction you get when you have crafted the perfect pair of glasses that make someone look fabulous and feel happy. That is the joy, and that is why we are constantly pushing our creativity, passion and having the guts to make our own rules”.
Original, often iconoclastic, and always invigorating, eyeglasses designed by l.a.Eyeworks are immediately recognised for their bold shapes, imaginative handling of materials, and expressive use of colour. Working from deep intuition, McReynolds and Gherardi begin each of their limited-edition designs with a hand-drawn sketch, the first step on a path of meticulous production where the finest materials are shaped by a combination of technology and hand-finished crafting. Every aspect of an eyeglass frame’s shaping and construction has at one time or another been re-thought and re-invented as part of the designers’ restless imaginations. The result is an expanding legacy of glasses that balances innovation with wearability, walking a fine line between optical tradition and a redefining expression of the “now.” Although l.a.Eyeworks have graced the faces of celebrities, performers, artists, and athletes, the deeper intention is for you to find a frame that conforms to no fashion sensibility but your own.
How it all began:
Maui Jim got its start in 1980 as a small company selling sunglasses on Ka’anapali beach in Lahaina, Maui. Seeing a need in the market for technology that could combat intense glare and harmful UV while bringing the brilliant colours of the island to life we engineered the revolutionary PolarizedPlus2® lens.
What began as our Classic Collection of seven styles, has evolved into over 125 styles of sunglasses, all of which are polarized and protect from 100% of UVA and UVB rays.
Our home office is located in Lahaina, Maui, and we still design and test all of our sunglasses there.
Philosophy:
We take our cues from the sun. It’s as much a part of our lives as the air that we breathe. We work in it. We play under it. We relax in it. We are always finding new ways to reveal more of the vibrant colours of the world while protecting your eyes from the effects of harsh glare and harmful rays.

Full UV protection in clear lenses. ZEISS Lenses with UV Protect Technology
UV radiation is always present. All year round, all day, in winter and summer, in sunny and even overcast conditions. UV rays have some positive effects on humans, for example it triggers Vitamin D production. Unfortunately, prolonged UV exposure also poses some serious health risks.
Most of us know that UV rays can damage the skin, but UV exposure can also be harmful to the eyes and the area surrounding them.
To protect the skin, we wear sunscreen, but we really don’t have a lot of options when it comes to protecting our eyes against harmful UV rays. Glasses can offer some form of UV protection, but at the moment some lenses protect the eyes, while some only offer partial protection.
Now, ZEISS sets a new benchmark by offering sunglass-level UV protection in their clear lenses – full UV protection up to a level of 400nm with ZEISS UV Protect Technology.
